The Proboat Recoil 2 18" boat is based on the larger Recoil speedboat with a length of 26" (66 cm), which conquered the world of water with its speed, easy control, and stylish hull with captivating licensed graphics. Its huge success inspired Pro Boat to create the RC boat Recoil 2 18”, which is smaller, more affordable, and offers equally exciting performance, driving characteristics, and style.

Just like its "big brother," the Recoil 2 18" features a Deep-V hull made of durable ABS material. Despite its smaller size, it is still an extra high-speed boat. Thanks to the water-cooled brushless motor and Spektrum ESC, it will literally fly across the water at speeds up to 40 km/h. If the model flips over in the middle of the lake, no worries, simply press and hold the third channel on the Spektrum SLT3 transmitter to activate the Self-righting function, and your Recoil 2 18” will immediately flip back and return to action.

Everything you need to operate the Recoil 2 18” is included in the package. The Spektrum SLT3 2.4 GHz transmitter combines reliability, ergonomics, and the ability to adjust all necessary functions for full enjoyment of the ride. The included 3S LiPo 1300mAh Smart battery can be easily and safely charged with the included USB-C charger Spektrum S120. Also included is a practical stand for display and maintenance. The compact size of the boat easily fits in a car or backpack for easy transport to the lake or other larger bodies of water. With simple setup and easy control, the boat is suitable even for beginners. Its speed, precise handling, and most importantly, fun factor will also impress experienced modelers.

Self-righting Function

The special hull design and brushless motor with an impeller and weight provide the model with a unique function that allows controlled flipping of the boat back with just a press of a button on the transmitter.

Powerful Brushless Propulsion

The high performance and speed of the boat model are ensured by the brushless motor Spektrum Firma 2950kv. The brushless system also provides easier maintenance and long life.

RC System SLT3 2.4 GHz

With the Spektrum SLT RC system, you always have a stable and secure connection without dropouts. The dual SLT/DSMR protocol of the SR315 receiver allows for an easy upgrade to the universal Spektrum transmitter.

Licensed Color Scheme

Officially licensed Shreddy and Heat Wave Visual variants add attractiveness to the model. The Heat Wave variant is stylized after Apollo Sunglasses: Blurr Customs. The Shreddy variant is inspired by racing driver Blake Wilkey.

Smart Charging

Charging the battery has never been easier. Simply plug the included Spektrum 3S Smart LiPo battery into the Spektrum S120 USB-C Smart charger. Using Smart technology, the charger detects the correct number of cells, charging current, and battery type. It then automatically starts safe charging.

Water-Cooled Motor and ESC

The water-cooled brushless motor and Spektrum Firma 30A ESC maintain a safe operating temperature for the components inside the sealed hull.

Speed and Efficiency

The model's design achieves an optimal balance between speed and efficiency. Even at high speeds, you have approximately 7 minutes of operation on a single battery.

Flip-up Rudder

The flip-up rudder is designed to prevent breaking upon impact with the shore, instead, it flips up. When flipped up, simply straighten the rudder back, as it does not use a traditional breakaway screw system.

Adjustable Surfaces

Stabilizing and correcting stainless steel surfaces at the rear of the boat's hull have high strength, durability, and resistance to damage. By adjusting the angle of the surfaces, you can customize the boat's driving characteristics.

Stand

The included stand is ideal for displaying the Recoil 2 18” and for its service maintenance. Rotate the stand to use it as a practical parts holder or for maintenance of the flexible boat shaft.

Everything needed to start the boat is included in the package. It is necessary to regularly maintain the boat shaft with lubricating grease before driving. We recommend purchasing spare LiPo batteries for longer runtime and a more powerful charger for faster charging.
